If you’re in the mood for a gritty, uplifting basketball documentary that will leave you in tears - and let’s face it, who comes to a site like this not ready for something like that - we have a great Netflix recommendation for you.

It’s a film called Basketball or Nothing and it’s about a high school basketball team from Chinle, Arizona, on the Navajo reservation.

Set aside some time because it’s a six parter.

This film is really well done. For all of the bad things we see in the college game (hello, FBI), basketball, like any sport, can help build discipline and character.

Seeing what happens with this group is extraordinary. Watch it for yourself and you’ll see. Just be sure to have some tissue because you’ll need it at the end.
