Marques Bolden has signed an Exhibition 10 contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

This is not a full-on deal. It gets Bolden to training camp and can be converted to a regular contract or a two-way.

There’s a pretty good chance that he’ll spend some time in the G-League this year and in fact he could be simply assigned to the G League or let go altogether.

Still, it’s a shot. And we should remind you that Canton was where Quinn Cook made his NBA bones. He didn’t get a full contract right away but he won immense respect from his colleagues which is paying off now.

Aside from Cook, some other Blue Devils have passed through Cleveland in recent years: Dahntay Jones, Kyrie Irving and Rodney Hood.
