As John Swofford warned, some of the carrier negotiations about the ACC Network went down to the wire.

That was the case with Dish TV and Sling, both of who signed up Thursday, just in time to air the Clemson-Georgia Tech game.

That’s great news for people who subscribe to either service but for people who still don’t have it, they have the ancient alternative of the neighborhood pub.

And the rest? Well people weren't happy about missing the Clemson-Tech game.

Speaking of the ACC Network, here’s a piece on new sideline reporter Katie George. She came to the ACCN from the Milwaukee Bucks.

You’ll be seeing a lot of her.

On the bad side, she’s a former Miss Kentucky and almost certainly a member of the Big Blue Nation.

In other words, she’s likely an SEC mole sent to steal ACC secrets. Shes probably in league with Paul Finebaum to steal all the ACC’s good stuff, including the closely guarded dossier on the personal lives of basketball officials and how to manipulate scoreboards while the game is going on. Because as SEC fans know, that’s the only way the ACC wins games.

While she’s at it she could swipe a sense of humor for old Lemon Lips.
