Duke’s game against Alabama is just nine days away, and obviously Blue Devils coach David Cutcliffe is thinking a lot about his upcoming opponent.

He talks here about Alabama and about how his quarterback, senior Quentin Harris, has improved.

Alabama is heavily favored and likely to win. Just for a minute though pause and imagine that Duke, like the 1980 US Hockey team, pulled off a massive upset over a longtime power.

It’s unlikely, but remember that Duke hung with Clemson for a half last season and Clemson just beat the crap out of Alabama for the national championship.

Two things you could count on: first, Paul Finebaum would make tons of excuses before having a coronary. And second, Alabama fans would hate Duke as much as Kentucky fans hate Duke.
