....But Baker Mayfield Is Not Impressed

Controversially take at #6 in this year’s NFL Draft, former Duke QB Daniel Jones has changed a lot of people’s opinions but not, apparently, that of Cleveland Brown’s QB Baker Mayfield, who chimed in with this opinion:

“Some people overthink it,” Mayfield says in a GQ interview. “That’s where people go wrong. They forget you’ve gotta win.

“I cannot believe the Giants took Daniel Jones...Either you have a history of winning and being that guy for your team, or you don’t.”

We’d just like to point out that while Baker has vastly more knowledge about football than we do, by his own standard, he should probably shut up since his NFL career record, as of now, at 7-7, is just .500. Big winner so far.
