As you probably know, Jabari Parker saw a potentially brilliant NBA career sidetracked by two ACL injuries.

Milwaukee let him go, then Chicago traded him to Washington and when the Wizards opted not to re-sign him, Atlanta picked him up.

The greatest Hawk ever is North Carolina’s own Dominique Wilkins (he grew up in Washington). So what does he think of Parker?

“He is going to surprise a lot of people. People don’t really know how good this kid is,” Wilkins told 12WDRW.com. “This kid can play. I mean plain and simple, Jabari Parker has talent. I think you’re going to see an amazing young player.”

It’d be nice to see him get his career back on track.
