Understandable but regrettable

Former Blue Devil Marvin Bagley, who was promoted from the Select Team to the National Team on Saturday decided on Sunday to focus instead on his day job and improving in his second year in the NBA.

It’s too bad but it’s not an irrational decision. Like most young players, he certainly has things to work on.

With his departure, barring any more promotions, Team USA is back to 16 candidates.
