It’s nearly unimaginable that a college senior could be diagnosed with breast cancer but that’s the hand that Syracuse’s Syracuse’s Tiana Mangakahia has been dealt: she’s been diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer.

We don’t know exactly what that means other than it’s much better than Stage 4 and likely survivable.

But our hearts go out to someone that young with that diagnosis who is in a foreign country and away from family (Mangakahia is Australian).

We know we join all Duke and ACC fans in wishing her the very best and a full and speedy recovery.
