With the addition of Milwaukee’s 6-9 Jalen Johnson, Duke is on the way to another really good class.

Johnson fits into the mold of previous Blue Devils like Mike Dunleavy, Chris Carrawell, Shane Battier, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish - versatile mid-size guys who can adapt or be adapted to a wide variety of roles and circumstances.

Add him to previously committed point guard Jeremy Roach and Duke has the basis for a really sound offensive team (defense is always less certain).

And keep this in mind - the Duke Chronicle references Roach saying that he plans to recruit his Team USA teammates to play with him at Duke. So far he’s got one in Johnson.
