In a couple of NBA notes, Miles Plumlee has been traded from Atlanta to Memphis and Wendell Carter has had surgery for a core injury.

Plumlee and Solomon Hill were traded for Chandler Parsons in what looks on both ends like cap maneuvering.

As for Carter, he’s expected to recover in time for training camp but will unfortunately miss summer league play.
