Georgia Tech - Dennis Scott
ATLANTA, GA - 1988: Dennis Scott #4 of Georgia Tech shoots the ball circa 1988 at the Alexander Memorial Coliseum in Atlanta, Georgia.

When Dennis Scott came to Duke as a freshman, the guy was a deadeye shot but really overweight.

So some Crazy put some treats on the floor, including one near half court.

Scott picked them up and then took a shot from the one near half court - and nailed it.

Later that game he dunked and it was amazing to see a guy that totally out of shape do it.

As his career went on he got himself into much better shape and became a very, very good player.

Check out this clutch steal and buzzer beater vs. UNC. The video is poor and the play is nearly forgotten, but it’s truly a great clutch play.
