Recruiting: Bobby Hurley Bags A Bagley While Patrick Ewing Gets A Key Local Recruit

Two non-Duke recruiting notes worth mentioning: first, congratulations to former Duke star Bobby Hurley. Now the head coach at Arizona State, he got a commitment from Marcus Bagley, younger brother of fellow former Blue Devil Marvin Bagley. He’s not quite as highly rated as Marvin, but he’s one of the highest rated recruits Arizona State has ever had. It’s a really big deal.

And second, Terrance Williams, who was down to Notre Dame, Georgetown and Michigan, chose Georgetown.

While it’s too bad for Mike Brey and the Irish at least they were in it. This underscores what we’ve talked about over the last couple of days, that Maryland has really lost mojo in the DMV. They weren’t even on his list.
