Former Blue Devil Wendell Carter swung for the fences in an Instagram post, promising to give Chicago “my blood, sweat and tears.”

What will he do when the playoffs come? We have a suggestion:

“Even though large tracts of the league and many old and famous franchises have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Lakers and Clippers, and all the odious apparatus of league power structures, we shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in Detroit, we shall fight in Boston and Philly, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength as we fly through the air for dunks, we shall defend our basket, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the LA beaches, we shall fight on the hardwood, we shall fight on the road and and in the streets and in the United Center, we shall fight in the Hollywood hills; we shall never surrender, and if, which I do not for a moment believe, this team or a large part of it were crumbling, then our G-League guys from the Windy City Bulls would carry on the struggle, until, in Chi-town’s good time, Da Bulls, with all our power and might, step forth to the rescue and the liberation of the championship from the Western Confence and most especially the Golden. State. Warriors.”

Go for it Wendell!
