Most people realize that Duke won’t have Daniel Jones back under center this year but Duke’s running game could be off the hook: Brittain Brown is healthy and he had already proven himself before he was injured.

In his absence though Deon Jackson stepped up and had a tremendous year. He truly announced himself against Pitt with 403 total yards and now Duke has at least two backs who can bust a game wide open.

His versatility will also help make new quarterback Quentin Harris much more effective. Duke’s offense, David Cutcliffe’s calling card, could be really fun again.
