Orlando Picks up Amile Jefferson On A One-Year Contract

Great news for one of Duke’s highest character guys

Former Blue Devil Amile Jefferson spent last year on a two-way deal with the Orlando Magic and he’ll be back with them again in the upcoming season: Orlando re-signed him to a one-year two-way contract.

Like former teammate Quinn Cook, Jefferson has torn up the G-League and built respect for his work ethic and for being a great teammate. And like Cook - or that matter Lance Thomas - it may take him a few attempts to find a team where he can carve a niche.

In the meantime, he’ll keep plugging and busting his butt.
