As some of you may remember, we’ve talked for awhile now about how Australia and Canada are rising powers in world basketball.
In the case of Canada, training camp invitations have gone out and the list is impressive by most standards. Here’s 12 of the best-known names:

The name most familiar to Duke fans is obviously RJ Barrett but as you can see, there’s plenty of talent up north.
What’s striking though is the name you don't see here: Andrew Wiggins.
It’s his choice - Wiggins doesn’t want to participate - but who cares? They may not be a gold medal level team yet but this is a group that could certainly medal.
And they keep getting better.
