Antonio Vrankovic, Croatia, Held Their Own In Summer League Play

Croatia, long since a basketball mad country, is trying to take it up a level

Antonio Vrankovic was the fourth guy on this past season’s Duke team (behind Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and Marques Bolden) to play in the NBA Summer League, but in his case, he played with the Croatian national team.

Here’s an article from the New York Times about how that experience went for the Croatians, with Vrankovic, who has spent a lot of time in the states, to the point where he speaks nearly unaccented English, finding some of their impressions of the U.S. comical.
