Like Chris Carrawell, he didn't start out loving the Blue Devils

Jalen Johnson recently committed to Duke but apparently it took him a while to realize it was the perfect place for him because he grew up as a Duke hater.

Johnson told USAToday that “Honestly, I was not a Duke fan growing up. Hated Duke. But once you get to see Duke, there’s nothing to hate about it. I love that school. I can’t wait to get there.”

It reminds us a bit of Chris Carrawell who liked UNLV and Michigan as a kid and couldn’t stand Duke - until he got here.

He told us that he felt totally at home and at peace when he got to Duke and that it just clicked for him. Sounds like it did for Johnson as well.
