Northern Iowa v Kansas
OKLAHOMA CITY - MARCH 20: Ali Farokhmanesh #5 the Northern Iowa Panthers attempts a shot against the Kansas Jayhawks during the second round of the 2010 NCAA men’s basketball tournament at Ford Center on March 20, 2010 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This is pretty funny although you may have seen it before. Remember Ali Farokhmanesh, the guard from Northern Illinois who just killed Kansas in the 2010 tournament?

In 2015, when everyone had forgotten about him, Farokhmanesh grabbed a mic and went around asking Kansas fans what they remembered about that game.

Then he revealed his identity.

It’s pretty funny, not least of all because of the reactions of the KU fans who are universally good natured about the prank. It’s a lot of fun and speaks well of college basketball fans in general, and of course Farokhmanesh himself.
