NBA: Finals-Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors
Jun 2, 2019; Toronto, Ontario, CAN; Golden State Warriors guard Quinn Cook (4) and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) celebrate during a time out in the fourth quarter against the Toronto Raptors in game two of the 2019 NBA Finals at Scotiabank Arena.
Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve talked before about how guys like Quinn Cook and Zion Williamson can have a major effect on team chemistry even if they’re not a regular (obviously not the case with ZIon but bear with us).

We saw that again in Game 2 of the NBA Finals when Cook hit a big three in front of the Raptors bench. Teammate and icon Steph Curry ran all the way down to celebrate with him - from the scorer’s table where he was about to check in.

He could’ve gotten a technical for that but the refs for whatever reason didn't call one.

It’s pretty funny to watch and speaks volumes about how people like Cook and want him to succeed. Who gets an All-Star to react like that?

Also notable: after Cook is almost tackled by Curry what does he do?

Turns around and starts thinking defense.
