Derryck Thornton, who left Duke unhappy after his freshman year with one relative claiming that he was a scoring point guard, ended up at USC.

This past season he averaged 7.7 ppg, shot, shot 28.6% from three point range and 38.2% overall which leads one to think that Duke had him pegged about right.

Well he’ll be back in Cameron but not as a Blue Devil: Thornton has committed to BC as a graduate transfer and will be eligible immediately, meaning he should play for BC when they visit in the upcoming season. That should be interesting.
