Here are some scouts with opinions on the Zion/RJ question: which one will be the better pro?

It’s really an interesting question but it’s also kind of pointless to ask. There are a lot of variables.

If they end up in New Orleans and New York respectively, there are plenty of distractions for teenagers. They wouldn’t be the first guys to get distracted by things those cities have to offer.

There’s also the possibility of injuries. Larry Johnson and Bernard King had career-altering injuries with the Knicks. Who knows? You can never begin to predict that sort of thing.

Then there’s the more basic human problem of complacency. They both seem like very focused guys but plenty of guys have assumed making it is the end and it’s not. It’s another beginning.

The best answer? Check back in a few years.
