A few ACC notes worth passing on: first, NC State picked up a recruit when JUCO Atticus Taylor selected the Pack.

He’ll give Kevin Keatts a bit more size - last year he frequently had four guards on the court - and he’ll have three years of eligibility left.

UNC picked up a grad transfer when William & Mary’s 6-7 Justin Pierce picked the Tar Heels.

In Clemson, the Tigers quickly parted ways with assistant coach Steve Smith after Smith’s name came up in the NCAA corruption trial. Realistically it was the only option they had. Too many questions had come up.

And after Clemson football was referenced in the trial and days after Dabo Swinney signed a contract that should put him nearly 10% of the way towards being a billionaire, Swinney has voiced displeasure about how his program was portrayed.

A lot of other ACC guys are getting more attention but Louisville’s Jordan Nwora has promise too and could be a good fit with several teams. He’ll be at the combine which suggests some real interest.
