Jordan Brand Classic
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - APRIL 20: Cassius Stanley #4 is fouled as he drives to the basket against C.J. Walker #14 and Boogie Ellis #23 during the Jordan Brand Classic boys high school all-star basketball game at T-Mobile Arena on April 20, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You can watch the video but in a nutshell Boogie Ellis wants to start at point guard and he clearly knows he’s not good enough to push Tre Jones out of his spot at Duke. It’s too bad he’s not willing to learn for a year because facing Jones daily would make him a vastly better point guard but it’s his decision and no one else’s. Really we only see these guys for about 80 hours a season out of something like 4,000 total hours not just of a season but of a life.

He says here that he’s heard from several new schools including Virginia, where we would have thought that Kehei Clark was a lock to start this fall.
