Syracuse and Virginia score likely solid contributors

Two 2020 ACC additions on Tuesday as Syracuse picks up Woody Newton, a 6-8 4-star forward out of Maryland. He’s a Top 100 recruit but closer to the bottom than the top.

And Virginia got a commitment from former Marquette star Sam Hauser. A 6-8 forward, Hauser is an outstanding shooter who will add range to Tony Bennett’s squad.

He’ll have just one year left but could be a real key for the ‘Hoos.
