Cam Reddish had an uneven time at Duke. He came in with some question marks around passion and effort and left with some unanswered.
Whatever you thought of him though - and we thought highly - he had one singular trait and that’s that when the games were tight...he got better.
Sometimes a lot better.
This was never more true than it was at Florida State. With the game on the line, Reddish was alone on the right side of the key with 2.8 left on the clock and FSU up 78-77.
What’s striking with some remove is just how confident he was. Watch his follow through, his casual arrogance. He knew it was good when it left his hand.
Fair’s fair so next time we’ll have an FSU buzzer beater.
