A former five star recruit could help the Panthers rebuild

Former Duke star and assistant coach Jeff Capel is an ace recruiter as most college fans know and he’s recruiting on two tracks currently: getting help for Pitt as fast as possible while stockpiling talent for later too.

Enter Jahvon Quinerly.

The former Villanova Wildcat was a major recruit who didn’t fit in well at ‘Nova. At Pitt? Who knows yet. But he’s going to visit and Capel will find the best use for him if he chooses the Panthers. It’d be a smart choice.
