A New A.D. Trade Scenario With Big Duke Implications

We’ve talked before about a scenario that could reunite Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett with the New Orleans Pelicans and that would be a lot of fun.

No one has really mentioned the possibility of Cam Reddish joining either one - until now.

Check this out: like everyone else, the Atlanta Hawks are dreaming of a way to trade for Anthony Davis.

In this scenario, the Hawks would send Wake Forest product John Collins, forward Taurean Prince, guard Kent Bazemore, and their #8 pick in the upcoming draft.

A lot of people see Cam Reddish as being available at that pick and that would put the Duke teammates back together.

Likely? Nothing is likely when it comes to trades and the draft. Everyone is going to do their damndest to get Davis and the Hawks will have tons of competition.

Still, it would be pretty cool and would give Duke fans another NBA team to pull for: aside from those two, the Pelicans also have Jahlil Okafor and Frank Jackson.
