Euroleague Basketball Final Four - Regal FC Barcelona vs CSKA Moscow
Europe has long provided a home for guys like former Duke star Trajan Langdon, who weren’t quite good enough for the NBA but who were still hugely talented basketball players.

We have a real appreciation for basketball history so this story reeled us right in: it’s about a promoter named Jim McGregor, who did as much as anyone to transfer the U.S. love of basketball to Europe.

He took tours over for years of guys who were just under the NBA level and many of them signed contracts there and some later became coaches and citizens.

It’s a hugely underappreciated story and would make a really good movie. If you like sports history you won’t want to miss this.
