The mock drafts continue as the NBA Draft approaches and while nothing has changed in the top three, USA Today sees things shaking out differently than some of the earlier mock drafts we’ve seen.
The top three here are still Zion Williamson, Ja Morant and RJ Barrett, so let’s start after that.
#4 sees Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter going to the LA Clippers, UNC’s Coby White going to Chicago at #7, Cam Reddish to Hotlanta at #8, Tar Heel Nassir Little to Minnesota and bone chilling cold at #11, Hokie Nickeil Alexander-Walker to Indiana at #18, Cam Johnson to Boston at #22 and Ty Jerome to the Spurs at #29.
What’s interesting is how perceptions have changed. Little and Jerome have both moved down in this model as has Rui Hachimura, who is now down to #14.
Mock drafts are meaningless but they do express sentiment and on occasion some insight about who is actually making an impression.
