Of course Tre Jones decided to pass on this year’s draft, but this site looks at him as a possible fit for the Chicago Bulls in next year’s draft.

The analysis falls back on the same basic thing: that he needs to improve his shooting.

Well yes he does. However, he’s a brilliant defender and runs his team well. Everyone has weaknesses.

We don’t think it’s something that insurmountable and even if it is, lots of guys can shoot. We saw him do some incredible stuff on defense this year. It was like watching special forces if special forces was in basketball. He’s a brilliant defender.

If it were use we’d take him and wait on the shooting and if he never got great at it we’d still be happy to have a pitbull on defense.

Call him a specialist if you want. Dennis Rodman was a specialist. So was KC Jones and Bill Russell. What matters is how you help your team and Jones can definitely help.
