Golden State Warriors v Portland Trail Blazers - Game Three

Congratulations to former Duke star Quinn Cook and his Golden State teammates who are going back to the Finals for the fifth straight time after knocking Seth Curry and Rodney Hood’s Trail Blazers out of the playoffs in a four-game sweep. No one has done that since the early Bill Russell years of the Celtics dynasty.

Keep in mind that the Warriors lost DeMarcus Cousins early and have also lost Kevin Durant - and still won in four.

Who does that?

For Cook, it’s his second trip and our favorite moment of the first was coach Steve Kerr hugging him and telling him he belonged because he had earned it.

Well he’s still earning it.

Cook doesn't play as much as some of the bigger names but when he gets in he gives it everything he’s got and helps his team. He’s a natural born winner.
