ACC Basketball Tournament - Quarterfinals
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA - MARCH 14: Zion Williamson #1 of the Duke Blue Devils dunks the ball against the Syracuse Orange during their game in the quarterfinal round of the 2019 Men’s ACC Basketball Tournament at Spectrum Center on March 14, 2019 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

One of the things we’ve really enjoyed about Zion Williamson being at Duke is that he’s just a decent kid.

So take this article about him asking for autographs as a kid. Turns out John Wall and potential (but unlikely) teammate Anthony Davis turned him down.

So he says he never turns down little kids because of how that made him feel.

On the bright side, it’d be fun if, sometime soon, he either blocked a shot or dunked on one of those guys and then said something like “no you can’t have my damn autograph!”

Update: apparently Williamson was misquoted. So never mind!
