Duke’s RJ Barrett is almost certainly going to be drafted by either Memphis or New York and will meet with the Knicks on Wednesday.

New York’s roster is likely to change a lot in the off-season but currently there is a real need for a player like Barrett. He has a ton of versatility and can be plugged into many different situations. Assuming the Knicks keep him, they’ll find lots for him to do.

On the other hand, they’re clearly hoping to make some major acquisitions in the off-season and Barrett could certainly be part of a deal. So don’t write anything in stone just yet.
