The Marketing Power Of Zion Williamson In The Big Apple

As the NBA lottery approaches, folks in New York, not guaranteed to end up with the top pick, are making arguments about why Zion Williamson would be better off in Gotham.

One of these is that Zion would be more marketable in New York. That may or may not be as true as it used to be but there’s no question that it’s a huge boost.

Williamson’s endorsement earnings are expected to be in the hundreds of millions but it’s not dependent on New York and realistically, it’s been a long time since New York had a great player who could take advantage of that platform anyway.

Of course all this depends on getting Williamson and that’s still a bit iffy.
