Jim Boeheim, after calling Zion Williamson the scariest college player he’s ever seen, raises some concerns about his ability to dominate in the NBA.

Fair enough. The players are bigger and stronger and all that.

What people continue to do is to focus on his physical gifts while ignoring his other significant talents.

First, he’s an incredibly smart player. That will help him overcome a lot. Second, he’s willing to work hard. And third, he has a remarkable social intelligence. Whatever team he’s on will get better immediately and have better chemistry. He’s going to be a dominant player in more ways than most people expect. How do you assign value to a guy who brings unity to a team?
