NCAA Basketball: Duke at Florida
Nov 26, 2017; Portland, OR, USA; Duke Blue Devils guard Grayson Allen (3) shoots a three-point shot against the Florida Gators in the second half at Moda Center.

The NCAA rules committee is looking at a major change in college basketball: moving the three point line back more than a foot to standardize with international basketball.

That would push it back from the current 20 feet, 9 inches feet to 22-1¾.

We won’t know for a while how much that would change shooting percentages but it would certainly put a premium on players with deep range and would certainly change the inside game as well.
