Congratulations to Zion OMG Williamson who was honored (again) as National Player of the Year (again), this time by the Associated Press.

He got 59 of 64 votes.

In this article he also talks a lot about how he came to terms with the crushing demands of his celebrity. He came to Duke already famous but after he led the opening game annihlation of Kentucky, a team expected to be dominant all season, the spotlight immediately got more glaring.

He dealt with it brilliantly.

He’s taking his time about announcing for the draft, which is nice of him, but he will soon and when he does, he’ll be a smash there as well.

We’d love to see him back but wherever he is next year, like all Duke fans, we’ll be cheering for #1.
