NCAA Basketball: Final Four-Coaches Press Conference

This is pretty funny and a bit odd: after Duke’s one-point loss to Michigan State, a Kentucky furniture store was so excited it announced a sale to celebrate the loss.

From the ad: “Everything is marked way down… free delivery right to your front door. Up to 48 months, no interest! Come down to Hazard Furniture and help us celebrate Duke getting the hell kicked out of them!”

We don’t mean to be churlish here but a) Duke lost by one to Michigan State and Kentucky lost by six to an Auburn team missing its best big man and b) Duke still beat the holy hell out of Kentucky in the season opener.

No hard feelings though.

Duke fans know that the most important night of the year for Kentucky basketball is Draft Night when we may see Keldon Johnson, Tyler Herro and PJ Washington go in the first round...well behind Zion Williamson, RJ Barrett and, possibly, Cam Reddish.

It’d be funny if someone in Durham had a sale to celebrate that.
