A loss to the ACC as Buzz Williams is set to wave bye-bye to the Hokies

CBS is reporting that the Buzz-Williams-to-Texas-A&M move will be announced Thursday. It’s a loss for the ACC as he’s made the Hokies - for the first time - a legitimate ACC level program.

Now the question will become: who do the Hokies turn to now? The immediate rumor is Cincinnati’s Mick Cronin since Virginia Tech A.D. Whit Babcock used to be his boss at Cincinnati. But Cronin, along with TCU’s Jamie Dixon, is allegedly one of two finalists for the UCLA job.

Former Duke guard and assistant coach Steve Wojciechowski has also come up in the rumor mill.
