Rick Barry was one of the all-time greats of NBA history, someone who was and remains widely disliked, and the last of the great underhanded free throw shooters.

In this bit of YouTube Gold, Barry hangs out with patrician George Plimpton (he wrote a lot of interesting sports stories back in the day, sometimes embedding himself with a team and was also in the movie Good Will Hunting) and demonstrates his free throw technique...blindfolded.

He’s still #7 all time and he can still hit them. And if you want, he’ll teach you his technique.
