At this point you have to think that Duke is in the head of Big Blue Nation like no other school.

This basically dates back to Christian Laettner and 1992 and has had various updates since then, including most recently the opening game last season when Duke laid an all-time whipping on their rivals from Lexington that haunted BBN for most of the season.

Recruiting too. Duke has moved past John Calipari’s UK in recruiting and has taken a lot of kids away from Kentucky lately.

There is another player to fight over now, or one in particular maybe in Jalen Johnson. He’s been a big Kentucky fan for a long time but as recruiting heats up in his case, he’s giving Duke more and more attention - which must make UK partisans crazy. Could it happen again?
