Although the Philadelphia 76ers are favored to beat the Toronto Raptors in the NBA playoffs, the Raptors drew first blood, winning Game 108-95.

There was also a Duke-UNC angle that drew blood: Toronto’s Danny Green caught JJ Redick in the mouth. Redick complained and drew a technical.

Even in the playoffs, you can’t fully escape the Duke-UNC rivalry.

If it were in Cameron the Crazies might have yelled “Gerald did it better!” referring to Gerald Henderson’s elbow to the mouth of Tyler Hansbrough, who ended up having oral surgery.

Fortunately, not many UNC players were actually doing classwork at the time so his rehab might have been less stressful than it would have been at, say, Wake Forest.
