NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-East Regional-Virginia Tech vs Duke
Mar 29, 2019; Washington, DC, USA; Duke Blue Devils forward Javin DeLaurier (12) dunks the ball during the first half against the Virginia Tech Hokies in the semifinals of the east regional of the 2019 NCAA Tournament at Capital One Arena.

We missed this a couple of days ago but over at the Chronicle Mitchell Gladstone takes a look at how Duke’s roster might look next year.

It’s always hard to know how things will turn out this early of course but we wouldn’t necessarily overlook Joey Baker. He has the potential to be really good.

Assuming that Javin DeLaurier and hopefully Marques Bolden return from their NBA fact finding, this also has the potential to be a really deep team and in those years, Coach K has lots of options and parts to work with. The thing is we don’t know how he’ll put it together and that, of course, is the most interesting part.
