It’s probably not a big surprise that guard Seventh Woods opted to leave UNC Thursday. He’s certainly not going to start over Cole Anthony and the backcourt is now ridiculously deep. Aside from Anthony, UNC is bringing in Jeremiah Francis and Anthony Harris. Brandon Robinson, Andrew Platek and Leaky Black will also get minutes.

We don’t think that he would have been the last guy in that rotation but his minutes were not going to increase much.

It’s not clear yet whether or not he’s leaving as a grad transfer or not - he’s a fourth year junior - but he’s still highly talented and some coach will be very glad to have him.
