If anyone was telling former Blue Devil Chase Jeter, now an Arizona Wildcat, that he was ready for the NBA, he wisely didn’t listen: unlike so many other basketball players this year, Jeter did not put his name into the draft.

It was a good decision.

He was moderately successful this season before struggling with back and knee problems but the most he can hope for right now is feedback and basically it’s likely to be that he’s not ready.

So maybe it’s better to recover from his injuries and get ready for next year.
