NCAA Men’s Final Four - National Championship - Texas Tech v Virginia

National championship secured, Virginia’s Ty Jerome and De’Andre Hunter have both put their name in for the NBA draft.

Hunter is expected to be a lottery pick and Jerome should go in the first round. We’ll be really interested to see how he does on that level. He’s not an elite athlete but he is a very smart player and his competitive drive is certainly elite.

Some good news for Virginia too as Cary forward Justin McKoy chose Virginia, snubbing UNC and NC State in the process.

This is like the scene in Braveheart where the King says “if [William Wallace] can take York....” with the implication being he could go anywhere.

That’s Ol’ Roy right about now.
