Legendary Duke point guard Bobby Hurley had the chance to have the top job in New York City at St. John’s and turned it down to stay where he is.

Arizona State is never a place where we imagined he might end up but clearly he’s happy there and we’re sure his kids, who are still somewhat young. Cameron is a Duke grad and we think Sidney is a student at ASU and we’re not sure about the younger Bobby but we’re sure with his family he’s thriving.

And as it turns out, Hurley has grown to love the desert. It’s not an easy place to live but it does get in your soul.
