Questions Raised At VT, Georgia Tech, Wendell Carter’s Name Raised

Some potentially unpleasant developments around the ACC as first Georgia Tech is about to get hit with three NCAA notices of allegation including one involving his loser former friend Ron Bell.

The other two involve former assistant Darryl LaBarrie and former Georgia Tech star Jarret Jack. Apparently the two coordinated to take Wendell Carter out to a strip club when they were trying recruit him for Georgia Tech.

We hope Mrs. Carter didn't find out. We enjoyed her when she was at Duke but she’s not someone you want to get on the bad side of and taking her baby to a strip club would just about do it.

Josh Pastner apparently is not being investigated and there is no lack of institutional control being alleged.

The Bell charge apparently relates to the previous situation where he apparently gave gifts to Tech players and allegedly paid for travel. That situation is pretty well known.

In Blacksburg, apparently Buzz Williams is friends with Martin Fox, a man in the center of the college fixing scandal currently in the news.

When his AD Whit Babcock asked him why the guy was sitting behind his bench, Williams assured him that he knew nothing about the scam and there was no reason to worry about those photos of Fox in the Virginia Tech dressing room.
