The NCAA announced the preliminary top 16 seeds for the NCAA tournament and Duke is currently #1.

Don’t get too excited - there’s a good ways to go yet and as Virginia proved last year, being a #1 seed guarantees nothing.

It is however a sign of respect and potential so take it for that.
